This is really interesting from Paul of Doha, Qatar about FISJ Challenge:
“ehehe… i’m a student from Philippine school doha in Qatar! bale yung skul nmen ay tinayo lng ng mga ofw sa qatar. Meron kasing unity at cooperation ang mga pinoy hir. they went through a lot of challenges kaya sila nakatayo ng skul d2. naitaguyod ang skul nung panahon na konti plng ang mga pinoy sa qatar. i heard na may nakulong pang founder dahil sa pagtataguyod ng skul
“
- Received as a BLOG comment and thus if we’ll help one another, we’ll be able to build our own school in Japan and the one in Qatar is the example. If OFWs in Qatar did it, why can’t we OFWs in Japan?

Dear Sir,
I would like to inquire about the requirements in enrolling my daughter this coming school year. She’s 11 yrs. old and presently enrolled at St. James College University here in the Philippines. My husband already work there in doha for about a year and I will be joining him this 1st week of march 2008 and God willing my daughter will follow on May or June if her visa will be finished. Right now my husband is complying all requirements for the application of a family visa in order to get our daughter as soon as possible. So , we are planning to enroll her at PSD . I’m looking for a website of PSD but I couldn’t find one. How much is the tuition fee per month? what documents needed from her school in the philippines? does the required documents need to be authenticated by dfa and qatar embassy?
Thank you!
Sincerely Yours,

After seeing all previous 27 comments, I can count on 1 hand the entries that are grammatically correct. What’s happening here? Is there a dumbing down of the Filipinos? Even those teachers applying for teaching posts — I cringe at their grammar, and found only 1 message that is quite decent & comprehensible (the computer teacher from Batangas University). Strange that the daughter of #27 above is an IT –wonder how they managed that?!

Mabuhay kayo d’yan!!!!

In a globalizing society like ours, learning to speak good English has become a necessity. The primary reason why many stidents and professionals refuse to speak out in front of people is because of their lack of confidence to use the language.
WHY SPEAK?
Having the ability to speak in front of people will not only earn you good grades and land you a good job. It will also improve your self-esteem and the way people look at you. By expressing honest opinions and your own points of view, people around you will get to know you better and respect you for that.
But always remember that speaking is a skill that should be put into good use. A good speaker also knows how to keep his/her words from hurting peole.
